Job Summary
The Pharmacist position in Reef Al Fujairah City is an exciting opportunity to provide excellent pharmacy services and customer care. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized professional with a commitment to providing top-notch care to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the pharmacy, including medication orders, compounding prescriptions, inventory management, and billing/payment processing. This individual must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations governing the practice of pharmacy in Reef Al Fujairah City
• Dispense medications accurately, following all standard procedures
• Compound prescriptions using appropriate techniques
• Monitor patient medication therapy plans and provide drug usage reviews as needed
• Assist customers in selecting over-the-counter medications
• Educate customers on proper medication usage
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient medication history
• Manage all aspects of ordering, stocking, and inventory control for medications
• Manage billing process for prescription medications
• Provide timely customer service to ensure satisfaction with products/services provided
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field required
• Valid license as a pharmacist in good standing with local state board of pharmacy required
• Excellent knowledge of pharmacy laws, rules and regulations governing pharmacists’ practice
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
• Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal communication abilities
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
