Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team at Ras-al-Khaimah. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining library services, collections, and providing information resources to support the needs of the community. This position offers a competitive salary of 1600 AED per month and is open to immigrants.

Job Duties
The Librarian’s duties include but are not limited to: creating a welcoming atmosphere in the library; developing and maintaining a collection of books; organizing and cataloguing books, periodicals, audio-visual materials and other electronic resources; creating online databases; helping patrons find information resources; organizing book readings, lectures, workshops and other events; updating library records; managing circulation desk activities including issuing library cards, registering new memberships, tracking fines and loan periods; ensuring that materials are properly shelved or stored in the appropriate area.

Education & Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a related field with at least one year of prior experience working in a library setting. Additionally, knowledge of modern computer applications such as online databases is essential for this position. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are also required.
