Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Minimum two years of teaching experience
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently
• Native English speaker or near-native proficiency in English language
• Knowledge of current educational trends
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lessons according to the school's curriculum guidelines and standards. Additionally, they will set high expectations for their students’ performance while ensuring a positive learning atmosphere at all times. They must be able to effectively manage their classroom by implementing behavior management strategies when needed. Additional responsibilities include assessing student progress through tests and assignments; preparing reports on student performance; attending faculty meetings; participating in extracurricular activities; communicating with parents regarding student progress; staying up-to-date with changes in curriculum guidelines; participating in professional development activities; developing innovative lesson plans; collaborating with other teachers and administrators when needed; maintaining appropriate records concerning attendance, grades, etc.; and performing administrative duties as assigned by the school's leadership team.
