Executive Chef in Al Shamkhah City, UAE
Al Shamkhah City is looking for an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring quality standards are met and that all food is prepared to perfection. The Executive Chef will also need to manage a wide range of staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, dishwashers and other kitchen personnel.
The ideal candidate for this role should have extensive knowledge of all kitchen operations and food safety regulations, as well as a passion for creating delicious meals. They should have a keen eye for detail as well as excellent interpersonal skills in order to work collaboratively with other staff members.
The main duties of the Executive Chef include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen;
- Developing menu items;
- Training new staff members;
- Ensuring quality standards are met;
- Scheduling staff shifts;
- Creating recipes and ordering ingredients or supplies when necessary;
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- At least 5 years' experience working in a professional kitchen environment;
- Extensive knowledge of all aspects of kitchen management;
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations;
- Good communication skills;
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
