Merchandiser Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Merchandiser to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate should be experienced in creating displays, stocking shelves and organizing store inventories. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200 QAR/month. We are open to considering an immigrant for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
The primary duties of the Merchandiser include but are not limited to:
- Creating visually appealing displays by arranging products on shelves to attract customers
- Making sure the shelves are fully stocked with products at all times
- Checking the expiration dates of products to ensure freshness
- Assisting customers with their queries about products
- Keeping track of sales figures and ordering new stock as necessary
- Following safety guidelines while stocking shelves and using ladders/scaffolding if necessary
- Working closely with store managers and staff to ensure smooth operation of the store
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess:
- Proven work experience as a Merchandiser or similar role
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Knowledge of current trends in retail merchandising
Experience
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience working as a Merchandiser or in a similar role.
