Librarian Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Librarian to join our team in the Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing the library’s collections and services, providing reference assistance, preparing bibliographies, maintaining library equipment and facilities, and serving as a resource for patrons.

The librarian will also be expected to stay up-to-date with developments in the field by attending professional meetings, reading professional publications, utilizing electronic media, and communicating with colleagues.

Requirements for the Candidate
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in similar role
• Knowledgeable about modern library systems and technology
• Proficiency in English language (spoken & written)
• Excellent research skills with ability to evaluate resources accurately
• Ability to provide reference assistance while maintaining high level of customer service
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
