Librarian Job - Dubai
We are currently seeking an experienced Librarian for a role based in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all library operations, from organizing and cataloguing to maintaining digital resources.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a library-related role, with the ability to effectively manage the library’s day-to-day operations. They should also possess excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Organizing and cataloguing library materials according to established procedures
- Ensuring that all library resources are accurately indexed
- Developing new collections or improving existing ones
- Maintaining digital resources, including databases and online catalogues
- Working with other staff members to ensure that library services are up-to-date and meet customer needs
- Providing training and support to other staff members in the use of library systems
