We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Ras-al-Khaimah. This individual will be responsible for leading the kitchen staff and creating innovative dishes that will delight our guests. The successful candidate will have a passion for food and a desire to ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation in every dish.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1 year experience as an Executive Chef. A university degree in culinary arts or equivalent is preferred but not essential. We are open to considering candidates who do not have experience but do have an eagerness to learn and grow in the role. We are also open to hiring an immigrant with the right qualifications and skillset.
The executive chef is responsible for managing the kitchen team, ensuring all orders are prepared promptly, efficiently and accurately. This includes developing menus, preparing and costing recipes, controlling portion sizes and food waste, ordering ingredients and managing stock levels. The Executive Chef is also responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen area at all times.
