Zayed City is looking for a Librarian to join their team and help build a vibrant and inviting library. We are offering a competitive salary of 1400 and are open to considering an immigrant for the role.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, possess strong organizational abilities, have an accurate knowledge of library systems, be proficient in online research tools, and have an ability to work independently with minimal supervision. An understanding of cataloguing systems is also beneficial.

The Librarian will be responsible for assisting patrons with locating materials, ensuring that materials are properly stored and catalogued, maintaining records of library resources, providing reference services to patrons, updating library databases as necessary, designing activities to promote the library’s usage among students and members of the public, providing technical support where needed. The Librarian should also be knowledgeable about current resources such as databases, journals, websites etc., that can help people in their research or learning needs.
