We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate for this role should be highly organized and have a passion for books and reading.

The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of library operations, including cataloging, organizing and managing books and other materials. They should be able to provide excellent customer service, helping users find what they’re looking for in the library. The Librarian should also have a good understanding of copyright regulations, digital library systems and other relevant topics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing the library’s resources, cataloging new materials, assisting patrons with finding books or other materials, keeping records of items checked out and returned, handling online orders and helping with computer-related tasks. They should also be able to provide research advice or instruction on using the library’s resources.

The successful applicant must possess excellent customer service skills as well as strong organizational skills, problem-solving ability and attention to detail. A Bachelor’s degree in Library Science is preferred but not required; however we are willing to consider an immigrant with minimal work experience. This position offers a salary of 1800 AED per month.
