Office assistant in Abu-Dhabi, UAE
We are looking for an experienced Office Assistant to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing administrative duties, providing support to our staff, and ensuring the office runs smoothly.
The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills with a positive attitude. They should be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision. Working knowledge of MS Office programs is essential.
Responsibilities include:
• Responding to phone and email inquiries from customers and suppliers
• Assisting with data entry, filing and other clerical tasks as needed
• Providing general administrative support to all departments
• Scheduling meetings and maintaining meeting minutes
• Performing basic bookkeeping duties such as data entry into accounts payable/receivable systems
• Sorting incoming mail, faxes, and emails
• Ordering office supplies as needed
Qualifications:
• A minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role
• Working knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
