Cashier in Haur-Fakkan, UAE
We are looking for a Cashier to join our team in Haur-Fakkan. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing payments and handling financial transactions in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills, as well as experience working with POS systems, cash registers and other payment processing systems. They should also be able to multitask, handle high volume customer traffic and work in a team setting.
Responsibilities include:
• Greet customers when they arrive and process their payments accurately
• Process credit card payments, cash payments and other forms of payment
• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
• Balance the cash register at the end of the shift
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
• Maintain cleanliness of the store at all times.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in finance/accounting is preferred
• Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is preferred; however we are willing to consider a foreigner with no prior experience
• Knowledge of POS systems and other payment processing systems is highly desirable
• Solid understanding of money management principles
