Office Assistant
We are looking for an experienced Office Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
The role of the Office Assistant is to provide administrative and clerical support to the team, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a reliable work ethic, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an office assistant or similar administrative role
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Willingness to take initiative when necessary
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is preferred but not required
• Eligible for employment in Sharjah (for non-immigrant candidates), or valid residency visa for immigrants.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain calendars for staff members as requested
• Answer phone calls from customers and other stakeholders
• Greet visitors warmly upon arrival at the office
• Assist with various bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, filing documents, etc.
• Arrange travel details such as flights/trains/accommodation/car hire/etc.
• Prepare mailings using computer software programs such as Microsoft Word or Excel
• Monitor inventory of office supplies; order new supplies when necessary
This position is available immediately at 900 AED per month. We are ready to consider an immigrant who meets all requirements listed above.
