Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or equivalent qualification from an accredited program
• Valid UAE Medical Practitioner license (or eligible to obtain one)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Optometrist
• Knowledge of modern diagnostic techniques and equipment used in optometry practice
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
• Examine eyes using various diagnostic techniques such as refraction tests, tonometry tests, ophthalmoscopy tests, color vision tests, depth perception tests, etc.
• Determine the corrective lenses required by patients based on their vision needs • Provide advice on visual hygiene and general lifestyle modifications as needed • Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses after analyzing test results • Monitor patient progress over time by assessing changes in visual acuity • Educate patients regarding corrective lenses usage, contact lens care instructions • Refill or renew existing eye prescriptions as needed • Maintain patient records accurately
