The Library in Dubai is looking for a new Librarian to join its team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about books, libraries, and helping others gain knowledge. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of materials, from rare and antiquated to contemporary and digital, in a supportive environment.

We require our Librarian to have a college degree in library science or related field. Any experience working in a library setting will be considered an asset, but is not required. The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational skills and be able to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

The primary responsibility of the Librarian is to curate and maintain the library collection by adding new materials, updating catalogs, and managing circulation of books and other materials. They will also provide reference services to patrons by answering research questions, locating materials, and providing computer access as needed. Additionally, the librarian will be responsible for programming events such as book clubs or other educational activities for patrons of all ages.

This position offers competitive pay of 1200 AED per month along with other benefits such as healthcare coverage and vacation days.
