Librarian Job in Dubai
We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library, providing research services and supporting educational activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or related field
- Ability to work with people of all ages
- At least one year of experience as a librarian, preferably in a library setting
- Knowledge of library cataloging systems
- Familiarity with modern library technologies
- Ability to use English language fluently both written and verbal
- Must be willing to relocate to Dubai if necessary
Duties:
- Managing day-to-day operations of the library including the circulation desk, reference desk and other library services
- Assisting patrons with research requests and inquiries
- Sorting and shelving books, magazines and other materials according to established standards
- Maintaining accurate records on borrowing materials, overdue accounts, fines paid and other transactions
- Cataloging new books into the library system and updating existing records where needed
- Providing instruction on the use of library resources such as databases, search engines and reference materials

We are ready to consider an immigrant for this position and no experience is necessary. The salary will be 1000 per month.
