Accountant

We are currently looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for all financial accounting, bookkeeping and reporting activities.

We expect the candidate to have a minimum of two years experience in the field of accounting, including preparing financial statements, accounts payable management, accounts receivable management, budgeting and forecasting, payroll processing and preparation of tax returns. The ideal candidate should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work independently.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:
• Establishing and maintaining financial records
• Preparing financial reports (e.g., balance sheets, income statements)
• Analyzing financial data to detect discrepancies
• Assisting with budget preparation
• Verifying accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records
• Performing general ledger maintenance tasks
• Investigating customer issues related to billing or payments
• Ensuring compliance with local legislation regarding taxes, accounting standards or other regulations
