Pharmacist Job in Dubai

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Pharmacist to help meet the needs of our pharmacy in Dubai. We are dedicated to providing excellent customer service and high quality medications for our customers. As the Pharmacist you will be responsible for dispensing medication, providing information to patients and healthcare professionals, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with legal standards.

The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be comfortable working independently, and have knowledge of pharmaceutical procedures.

Job Description:
The Pharmacist is responsible for providing patient-centered pharmaceutical care in a retail pharmacy setting. This involves interpreting prescriptions, entering orders into the computer system, verifying accuracy of dispensed medications and counseling customers on drug therapies. The Pharmacist will also be responsible for educating patients on medication use and answering any questions they may have about their medications or health conditions. Additionally, the Pharmacist will be expected to comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing pharmaceuticals.

Duties:
• Interpreting prescriptions from physicians or other healthcare professionals
• Entering orders into the computer system accurately and efficiently
• Verifying accuracy of dispensed medications
• Counseling customers on drug therapies as well as over-the-counter medications
• Providing information to patients and healthcare professionals regarding medication use
• Maintaining accurate records of prescribed drugs dispensed
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing pharmaceuticals
• Educating customers about drug interactions, side effects, storage instructions, etc.

Qualifications/Skills:
• Licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in Dubai is required for this position • A minimum of 1 year experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred but not required • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Knowledge of current trends in pharmacy practice • Knowledge of relevant legislation regarding safe prescribing practices • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy
