We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals for our customers, overseeing the kitchen operations, and delivering top-notch customer service. As a Chef, you will be expected to have the culinary skills to develop innovative menus and ensure consistent quality.

Job Description:
The Chef is responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, staff management, and cleanliness of the kitchen area. The Chef is expected to create unique dishes that adhere to health and safety regulations as well as customer preferences. They must be able to manage their time effectively and prioritize tasks in order to meet tight deadlines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Plan menus according to budget constraints while ensuring variety of dishes on offer
• Oversee purchasing of food ingredients and equipment needed for successful kitchen operations
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times
• Ensure food is prepared in accordance with recipes developed by the Head Chef
• Monitor portion sizes being served ensuring consistency throughout service periods
• Develop new recipes as needed according to customer preferences or new menu ideas from Head Chef
• Manage stock rotation ensuring freshness of ingredients while minimizing waste
• Train new team members on proper techniques used when cooking dishes such as knife handling, portion control, etc.
• Monitor waste level closely while making adjustments where necessary
Qualifications & Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen setting
• Experience managing staff members within a kitchen setting preferred but not required
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a restaurant setting
• Knowledge of different cooking techniques (e.g., baking, roasting) as well as awareness of international cuisine trends
This is a full-time position with an attractive salary package starting at 1200 AED/monthly plus other benefits such as paid vacation leave, meal subsidies etc., depending on experience levels. Preference will be given to locals but foreigners are welcome to apply.
