We are looking for a highly motivated Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our library collection, as well as providing assistance to patrons.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, and an ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The successful applicant will also need to possess a strong understanding of library classification systems and be able to accurately catalog items in our collection.

Responsibilities include:
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the library;
• Cataloging new items into the library collection;
• Maintaining accurate records of library books;
• Assisting patrons with locating resources or materials;
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment within the library;
• Performing regular book reviews and inventory checks;
• Monitoring overdue materials and making sure they are returned in a timely manner.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or similar field;
• Knowledge of current trends in libraries and information technology;
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends;
• Proficiency with computer systems and programs, such as Microsoft Office Suite;
• Attention to detail when cataloging new items.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the right skill set looking for a full-time position with a salary of 1600 per month. We are open to considering non nationals for this role.
