Executive Chef
Are you a passionate culinary professional with experience in leading a team of chefs to create unforgettable gastronomic experiences? We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a 5-star hotel in Doha. The successful candidate will be offered an attractive salary of 900.
Job Summary
The Executive Chef will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard. The Executive Chef will also be responsible for developing new menus and recipes, training kitchen staff, monitoring food quality and waste management, and maintaining safety standards in the kitchen.
Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen
• Develop creative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients
• Train and develop kitchen staff
• Monitor food quality and waste management
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Monitor portion sizes, cooking times, temperature control, and presentation of food items
• Work closely with front of house staff to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Culinary Arts or related field
• At least 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a five-star hotel/resort setting
• Proven experience in developing creative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Other Requirements
• Must be willing to work flexible hours (including evenings/weekends)
• Must have excellent communication skills • Must have strong organizational skills • Must be able to work under pressure • Must have a valid work permit for Qatar (if applicable)
