Executive Chef - Doha
We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a prestigious restaurant in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen staff, menu planning and development, ordering and management of all kitchen supplies, review of food quality and kitchen safety protocols. As Executive Chef you will be tasked with training new kitchen staff and developing existing staff to ensure that high standards are maintained.
Job Description:
The Executive Chef is responsible for ensuring a seamless operation of the kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, mentoring and managing all necessary processes for a successful kitchen operation. He or she will create menus that meet customer expectations while maintaining a balance between quality, presentation and cost. The Executive Chef is expected to maintain the highest standards of food quality and safety by ensuring that all staff follow proper sanitation procedures. He or she will also be responsible for creating attractive presentations that showcase the quality of food served in our restaurant.
Job Requirements:
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership role in a kitchen setting
• Proven track record of creating innovative menus that meet customer expectations
• Knowledge of industry trends in culinary techniques as well as food preparation hygiene processes
• Ability to work long hours including nights/weekends as necessary
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
