We are looking for a reliable and accurate Cashier to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to process transactions quickly and accurately. We're also looking for someone who is friendly and able to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic, experience with cash handling, be comfortable with numbers, and be organized and detail-oriented. Immigrant status will be considered an advantage.
As a Cashier, you will:
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct
• Greet customers entering establishments
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas
• Keep up to date on product information and answer questions about merchandise
• Answer customers' questions, handle complaints or refer them to the Store Manager or Supervisor when necessary
• Take inventory or examine goods to identify items that need ordering or replenishing
