Merchandiser in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to work in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire process of merchandising activities in order to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of the products and the market, strong communication skills, and be able to make decisions quickly and effectively. They should also have a proven track record of success in the field.
Responsibilities:
• Developing plans and strategies to increase sales.
• Working closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise orders.
• Analyzing sales figures, trends, and customer preferences to recommend product selection and pricing strategies.
• Creating displays in stores or other outlets to promote products.
• Developing promotional campaigns and executing them on time.
• Analyzing customer feedback and making necessary changes in product selection or pricing strategies accordingly.
• Monitoring stock levels at all outlets, ensuring that merchandise is replaced as needed.
• Keeping up to date with industry trends, competitive products, promotions, etc., so as to stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Merchandiser or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of retail principles including category management, visual merchandising, assortment planning etc.
• Proven ability to develop successful promotional campaigns for products or services .
• Excellent communication skills with customers/suppliers/stakeholders as well as colleagues within the organization .
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player .
Salary: 1300 AED per month + benefits (as per UAE labor law). We are ready to consider foreign nationals for this role too!
