Accountant Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at Khalifah A City. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to ascertain that our finances are accurate and compliant with all applicable regulations. You must have excellent analytical skills, as well as two years of accounting experience. We are also open to considering applications from foreign candidates.
Job Responsibilities
• Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, balance sheets and other management accounts
• Analyse financial data in order to identify any issues or trends
• Reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns
• Maintain accurate records of invoices and other financial documents
• Monitor compliance with accounting regulations in the organisation
• Respond to any queries from internal stakeholders or external auditors
• Provide advice on budgeting and cost control processes
• Stay up-to-date with changes in the accounting landscape
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar field of study
• Two years of experience working in an accounting role
• Familiarity with relevant accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
