Description:
We are looking for a reliable and efficient Cashier to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer payments in a timely and accurate manner, providing excellent customer service, and adhering to safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Receive payments from customers in the form of cash, credit cards, checks, or other payment forms.
• Count money received and provide exact change to customers as needed.
• Process returns and exchanges by verifying the customer’s information.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
• Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.
• Answer customers' queries about products or services.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working with cash preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong mathematical skills with attention to detail.
