Executive Chef - Doha
We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Doha. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day kitchen operations, designing and executing high-quality menus, training and managing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities:
• Develop creative and innovative dishes that meet customer requirements.
• Create weekly menus that feature seasonal ingredients.
• Train, supervise, and coach kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques.
• Monitor food costs and ensure they remain within budget.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the kitchen area at all times.
• Ensure compliance with health codes and regulations.
• Create ordering lists for ingredients, supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure the kitchen is adequately supplied with necessary items.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors for food products and supplies.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a 5-star hotel or restaurant environment. We are willing to consider foreigners who have minimal work experience but demonstrate potential for future growth in this role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English or Arabic (preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety regulations, menu engineering, nutrition principles, ingredient pairings, etc.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
Salary: 1400QAR/month
