Librarian job in Dubai UAE for unskilled worker


We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library's resources, organizing and cataloging books, and assisting patrons with their inquiries. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a passion for literature.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the library’s collection of books and other materials
• Organize books by category, author, subject matter, etc.
• Catalog new acquisitions into the library database
• Assist patrons in identifying resources to meet their needs
• Provide technical support to patrons when necessary
• Develop library programming initiatives to promote reading and literacy
• Monitor circulation of materials, including tracking overdue items
• Create systems to manage library access and maintain security of materials
• Ensure that shelves are orderly and properly labeled with up-to-date information
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in librarianship or similar role
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary: 1300 AED monthly. We are ready to consider a foreigner.
