We are looking for a Cashier to work in our Dubai office. In this position, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions in the store or workplace. The ideal candidate should be organized, have excellent communication skills and a pleasant attitude towards customers.
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Cashier role include: processing each customer’s transaction promptly, accurately, and courteously; accurately counting back change to the customer; operating cash registers; maintaining an accurate cash drawer; answering customer’s queries regarding their purchase; collecting payments; preparing daily reports of total sales transactions; reconciling cash drawers at the end of each shift; keeping the checkout area clean and tidy at all times.
To qualify for this role, you should possess a high school diploma or equivalent qualification. You should also have basic knowledge of accounting principles as well as experience handling cash registers. Additionally, you should have good communication skills and great customer service attitude. Having previous experience in the same role would be an advantage but is not essential. Foreign candidates are welcome to apply for this role with a salary of 1200 per month.
