Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Musaffah. This role is responsible for the overall management of the kitchen and its staff, ensuring quality food production is met, as well as creating new menu items. The successful candidate will work closely with the management team to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold hygiene standards in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including staff training and development, scheduling, food production and storage
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication
• Develop new menu items that are creative, cost-effective and meet customer needs
• Monitor the quality of raw materials used in food preparation
• Implement health and safety standards within the kitchen area
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock supply
• Analyse stock requirements on a daily basis to control costs
• Supervise staff during service hours to ensure they adhere to company policies
Minimum Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or a similar role within a professional culinary environment
• Extensive knowledge of kitchen sanitation principles and understanding of health codes
• Ability to mentor employees and delegate tasks effectively
• Excellent organisational skills with an ability to remain calm under pressure
• Outstanding communication skills both verbally and written
• Immigrant status is welcomed but not required
