Librarian Vacancy in Dubai
We are seeking an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The position offers a salary of 1100 and we are open to considering foreign applicants. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and able to work independently, with a strong commitment to customer service.

Job Description
The Librarian will provide library services and resources for our customers, performing duties such as organizing books, cataloguing resources, maintaining library equipment, helping patrons find books or materials they need, and providing information about library services. The Librarian will also assist in developing plans to promote the use of library materials and programs.

Responsibilities
• Ensure the efficient operation of the library by organizing books on shelves according to established guidelines; shelving returned items; determining overdue items; collecting fines; maintaining records of library activities.
• Develop library resources by cataloguing new material; maintaining collections; identifying obsolete material; recommending purchases.
• Provide research assistance by responding to reference requests from patrons; providing assistance with using computer databases or other reference materials.
• Promote library services by providing information about available services; developing promotional materials; presenting programs for the public.
• Maintain security of the facility by monitoring activities within the building.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field required
• At least 3 years of experience working in a library setting required
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail required
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers required
• Proficiency in using computers and digital technology preferred
