Accountant - Sharjah

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our growing team in Sharjah. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to work in an international environment and further develop their skills.

Requirements:
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• Proven experience as an Accountant (at least 5 years of experience)
• Familiarity with accounting software and reporting tools
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and standards
• Must be willing to relocate to Sharjah if necessary (foreigners are welcome)

Job Description:
• Manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports • Track the company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement • Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities • Participate in financial audits (analyses of organization’s finances) • Implement financial policies and procedures by initiating, designing, monitoring systems • Compliance with applicable tax regulations • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained • Provide advice on how to increase revenue & reduce costs • Stay up-to-date with technological advances & accounting software
