Executive Chef job vacancy in Doha Qatar
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team at a restaurant in Doha. The Executive Chef will be responsible for designing menus, planning and directing food preparation, developing new recipes, overseeing kitchen operations, managing staff and ensuring the highest quality of food is produced. This position offers a competitive salary of 1400 monthly. We are ready to consider immigrant applicants with the necessary qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
• Design menus with consideration of nutritional value, appeal, cost and seasonal availability of ingredients
• Direct the preparation and presentation of meals while maintaining high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
• Develop recipes that meet customer specifications
• Investigate new products, ingredients and methods of production
• Supervise subordinate chefs to ensure that food is prepared according to recipes
• Monitor stock levels and food consumption
• Establish portion sizes for menu items
• Monitor all purchases to ensure proper quality control
• Monitor food consumption levels and adjust portions accordingly
• Update menu offerings periodically to reflect seasonal changes or customer preferences
Qualifications
• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting
• Exceptional understanding in both classical and modern cooking techniques
• Ability to create new recipes based on customer feedback
• Excellent knowledge of nutrition principles • Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced environment • Familiarity with sanitation regulations • Excellent organizational skills • Culinary arts degree preferred
