Job Description

We are looking for a Cashier to join our team in Dubai. This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of the cash register in our store and providing customer service. The successful candidate should be able to handle transactions quickly and accurately, provide excellent customer service, and have a good understanding of financial systems and processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proven track record of customer service experience
• Previous experience as a cashier or in the retail industry
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic, including counting money
• Knowledge of computer systems required for operation of cash registers
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Process transactions quickly and accurately at the cash register.
• Ensure accuracy by counting money back to customers.
• Answer customer questions regarding their purchases.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Issue receipts, refunds, discounts, change due, etc., as necessary.
• Help promote sales by offering customers additional items that they may need or be interested in purchasing.
• Resolve customer complaints in an efficient manner following company policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all local laws governing the sale of retail goods in Dubai.
