Job Summary:
We are looking for an Executive Chef to join our team in Zayed City. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the kitchen staff and overseeing the entire culinary operation of the restaurant. They should be able to create innovative and exciting dishes while maintaining consistent quality standards. The Executive Chef will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff members alike. A competitive salary of 1500 is on offer for this role which is open to all nationalities, with minimal work experience expected.
Responsibilities:
The Executive Chef will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations including menu planning, food preparation, inventory control, purchasing, staffing and training of personnel. They will plan menus that meet customer needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing profits. The Executive Chef should have excellent organizational skills to ensure that all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. Furthermore they should be up-to-date on industry trends and have a proven ability to develop new recipes that meet customer tastes while staying within budget constraints.
Qualifications & Experience:
The successful applicant must have a diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or a related field as well as a minimum of 5 years' experience in a professional kitchen setting. An understanding of safety regulations, HACCP guidelines and food hygiene is essential for this role as well as excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and an ability to think critically in order to solve any problems that may arise during service. Candidates must also possess strong leadership qualities as they will be required to lead the kitchen staff effectively in order to achieve maximum results from their efforts.
