Job Description:

We are looking for a knowledgeable Librarian to join our team in Bani Yas City. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library, providing information to users, and organizing activities to promote library services. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100. We are also open to considering immigrants who meet the job requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and update library catalogue systems
- Assist library users in finding books, articles, or other materials
- Develop and coordinate library programs and activities
- Ensure that library materials are properly stored, shelved, and checked out
- Catalog new books and materials using standard classification systems
- Provide reference assistance to patrons
- Process interlibrary loan requests from other institutions
- Supervise student workers or volunteers as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field
- Knowledge of modern cataloguing systems such as Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) or Library of Congress (LC) system
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
