Office assistant vacancy in Sharjah UAE for foreigners
We are looking for an experienced Office Assistant to join our team at Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth running of our office.
The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is willing to take initiative and be a creative problem-solver.
Responsibilities:
• Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department
• Assist with filing and data entry
• Type documents, such as correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, etc.
• Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person/department
• Compile information for reports as requested by management
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Provide general administrative support as needed
• Follow up with customers on inquiries or requests in a timely manner
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an office assistant or similar role
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred) • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently with little supervision • Willingness to learn new things • Able to work flexible hours • Ready to consider an immigrant
Salary: 900 AED per month
