Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Ajman, on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. The primary responsibilities will include analyzing sales trends, negotiating prices with vendors and suppliers, creating promotional and pricing strategies, ensuring product availability, monitoring the performance of products, preparing reports and maintaining up-to-date stock levels. Additionally, the successful candidate will have to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding purchasing and inventory management.
Requirements for the Candidate
To be eligible to apply for this role you must have:
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel and Word
• Ability to make decisions quickly and accurately
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to merchandising
