Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Executive Chef for our Dubai location. The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading the kitchen team, creating delicious menus, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared with excellent quality. The ideal candidate must have an eye for detail and a passion for cooking in order to create a positive dining experience.
Responsibilities
• Develop creative and innovative menus that reflect the restaurant’s theme
• Oversee daily operations of the kitchen staff
• Lead food preparation and ensure quality standards and portion control
• Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed
• Create cost-efficient menus while maintaining high standards of taste and presentation
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed in the kitchen area
• Train kitchen personnel on proper cooking techniques, safety protocols, menu items, etc.
• Analyze recipes to determine labor costs and suggest cost-saving methods
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant environment
• Ability to think creatively when it comes to menu creation
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Outstanding leadership skills with sound judgement
Compensation
This position offers a salary of 1700 AED per month with other benefits such as insurance and paid vacation time.
