Merchandiser - Doha, Qatar

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Merchandiser to join our team based in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, developing merchandising strategies, and growing sales and market share.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a keen eye for detail and product knowledge. An understanding of the local market is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze sales data to identify trends, anticipate customer needs and develop strategies for increasing store sales.
• Create product displays that are attractive and effective in promoting merchandise.
• Monitor inventory levels and order new merchandise to meet customer demand.
• Develop promotional initiatives to support sales efforts.
• Monitor competitive products in the market place and adjust pricing accordingly.
• Provide feedback regarding customer needs to the marketing department.
• Train store staff on merchandising techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred • Proven experience as a merchandiser or similar role in a retail setting • Knowledge of retail software packages such as POS systems • Ability to analyze data accurately to make decisions quickly • Excellent communication skills with customers, suppliers, and colleagues

Salary: 1500 QAR per month We are open to considering applicants from outside Qatar who meet the required criteria for immigration purposes.
