As a Cashier, your responsibilities will include:
• Processing payments from customers
• Handling cash, credit and/or check transactions
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
• Counting the contents of the cash register at the end of each shift
• Keeping records of transactions and balancing cash drawers regularly
• Resolving customer complaints in a timely manner.
To be successful as a Cashier you should have:
• Previous experience working in a retail environment or similar role
• Working knowledge of cash registers and other related equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
