Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Cashier to join our team in El-Ain. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cash transactions with customers using a cash register. The Cashier will also be required to provide exceptional customer service, perform basic math functions, manage inventory, and keep the checkout area clean and orderly. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400. We are open to considering immigrant applicants.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Cashier will perform various duties such as greeting customers upon arrival, scanning items, processing payments, issuing receipts, answering questions about products or services, counting money in the cash drawer at the beginning of shifts, helping to maintain cleanliness around the store, and providing general assistance as needed. Additionally, the cashier may be required to process returns or exchanges and answer customer inquiries regarding store policies or promotions. The cashier must maintain a professional demeanor at all times while ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills and excellent customer service skills as well as prior experience working with a cash register or POS system. Additionally we expect knowledge of basic mathematics (e.g., adding up totals), familiarity with using Microsoft Office software (Word & Excel), understanding of store security practices (e.g., bagging items properly) are necessary for success in this role. We would also consider an immigrant applicant who meets these criteria but has minimal work experience.
