Librarian position in Abu-Dhabi

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. We are offering a competitive salary of 1100 for this full time role. We are open to considering applicants from abroad and offering support with relocation if required.

Job Description

• Manage the library, including organizing, cataloging and lending materials.


• Train and supervise library staff.


• Develop and maintain library collections.


• Implement new technologies for library use such as automated systems.


• Provide guidance and assistance to patrons on how to use library resources.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills.
