Job Title: Merchandiser
Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
Salary: 1700 AED/month
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of the retail industry.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of merchandise for customers.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer service.
• Maintain up-to-date records of merchandise sales and inventory levels.
• Negotiate with vendors for product pricing, discounts, and delivery schedules.
• Track customer preferences and suggest targeted merchandise options.
• Monitor customer feedback to identify areas of improvement in product selection or services offered.
• Coordinate with store managers to ensure proper placement of products on shelves.
• Ensure all displays are attractive, neat, and stocked with appropriate products.
• Create attractive promotional displays to increase sales of featured merchandise.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a merchandising role within the retail industry.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities (verbal & written).
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledgeable in customer service principles and practices.
