We are currently seeking an experienced Cashier to join our team at Zayed City. This role will involve providing customers with a positive, friendly and efficient cashier service.
The successful applicant must have at least two years of experience in a similar role, strong numerical and organizational skills as well as an excellent customer service attitude.
Responsibilities include:
• Accepting payment from customers in cash, check or credit card form
• Operating the cash register and handling all transactions accurately and efficiently
• Balancing the till at the end of each shift
• Updating inventory records and ensuring accuracy of pricing on items
• Answering customer inquiries in a professional manner
• Processing returns and exchanges according to established policies
• Maintaining a clean, organized work environment for customers
Qualifications:
• At least two years of experience as a cashier in a retail setting
• Proficient numerical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
