Office Assistant - Sharjah
We are looking for an organized and reliable Office Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate should have a good command of English language, be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and have strong organizational skills.
The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This job requires multitasking capabilities and excellent time management skills. The ideal candidate should also possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Answer incoming calls and take accurate messages as necessary
• Greet visitors/clients warmly and make them feel welcome
• Schedule appointments/meetings for upper management
• Maintain tidy reception area
• Prepare documents/reports as required
• Type memos, emails, letters and other documents as needed
• Manage filing system for all documents (both hard copy and electronic)
• Monitor office supplies inventory; order supplies when needed
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties such as filing invoices, mailing checks etc.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent education required; college degree preferred but not mandatory • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to consider immigrants with no work experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Highly organized with strong attention to detail • Ability to multitask efficiently • Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel etc.) • Working knowledge of bookkeeping principles • A friendly demeanor with excellent customer service skills
Salary: 1300 AED per month
