Job Description for Office Assistant in Sharjah
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the office staff. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary of 1600 AED, with flexible hours and we are willing to consider an immigrant for the position.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational skills, be detail oriented and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. They should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience working in an office setting is preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities
The duties of this role include, but are not limited to: answering phone calls, responding to emails, filing documents, sorting post, managing calendars, scheduling appointments and meetings as well as other administrative tasks. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining office supplies and ordering new materials when needed.
Qualifications
A minimum of High School diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) is necessary and any additional experience with accounting software is an advantage.
