Librarian Job in Abu-Dhabi
We are looking for an experienced librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves books and wants to make a difference in the world of libraries. Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the librarian will be to maintain an organized collection of books and other media, as well as providing reference services to library patrons. This may include cataloging new additions, helping patrons find resources, and assisting with research projects. The librarian will also be responsible for managing the library's budget, organizing events, promoting library services and programs, training staff, and supervising volunteers.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a degree in Library Science or Information Studies, or equivalent experience. They should have excellent customer service skills and be knowledgeable about literature and current trends in library technology. The successful applicant should also have strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and be comfortable working with computers.
