Librarian Job in Musaffah
We are looking for an experienced and motivated librarian to join our team in Musaffah. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing the library, with a salary of 1700 AED.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Library Science or related discipline. Previous experience working in a library is preferred, but not required. The candidate should be highly organized and able to multitask. Attention to detail is also essential. Ability to work with computers and other technologies is necessary. The successful candidate should also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
The main duties of this role include cataloging new books and materials, developing library collections, helping patrons locate information, providing reference services, assisting with research requests, organizing book fairs and other events, maintaining records and databases, creating newsletters or brochures about the library services available, training students on how to use the library facilities, handling book checkouts/returns/renewals/fines.
