We are looking for a Cashier to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cash transactions with customers, as well as maintaining the store’s financial records. We offer a salary of 900 AED and are willing to consider applicants from a foreign background.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and attitude.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.


Responsibilities:
• Receive payments by cash, checks, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and stock shelves with merchandise as needed.
• Answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies according to established guidelines.
• Compute accurate sales prices for purchase using calculators or price scanners as needed.
